The Missing Infrastructure for Everyday People to Know Better and Do Better.
Most people want to help. They care. They’re paying attention. But they don’t know where to start—or they’re stuck in cycles of guilt, burnout, or disconnection.
Group Project Initiatives (GPI) is an ecosystem for social good, using research and evidence-informed insights to create accessible long-term infrastructure for civic allyship in our country because we know changing the world is a group project and this is how we invite more people to join the assignment of our lifetimes.

The Problem We’re Solving
The current system thrives when people feel disoriented, ashamed, or like they’re not “qualified” to help.
We’re told justice work is for the experts. That if we’re not doing it perfectly, we shouldn’t do it at all. That guilt is activism. That silence is safer. That our instincts can’t be trusted.
This is by design. The far right has spent decades perfecting their infrastructure. The left has vibes and viral moments—but no ladder. We’re here to build the ladder.
GPI prepares the "everyday middle"—folks who care but feel unsure or stuck—to step into advocacy, allyship and organizing with clarity, confidence, and care. We help them unlearn the shame and perfectionism that keep people frozen. We translate big systemic concepts into embodied, emotionally legible truths.
We show people that they don’t need to be perfect to be powerful. And we know the most important thing most people can do is start where they are, use what they have and do what they can.

Social good work can’t just be urgent. It has to be sustainable and accessible.
We educate, empower, and activate everyday people—and then point them toward work already led by those most impacted by injustice, as well as unions, nonprofits, and others advancing intersectional, people-centered solutions. Because when everyday people aren’t prepared, their participation—however well-meaning—can replicate the very harm movements are trying to undo.
Our role isn’t to replace or sanitize the work already happening— but to approach it like a group project. We know our role is to help build the skills in folks who want to be part of the change but aren’t sure how to lean in. We prepare people to step into it with clarity, courage, and alignment, so they show up ready to follow, not fumble or derail. When done right, this deepens trust, strengthens organizing, and redistributes power where it belongs.
