WHAT / COMMUNITY BUILDING,
EMPOWERMENT & ACTIVIATION
The Social Good Community Centre (SGCC) is Canada’s year-round hub for social good—a deconstructed conference and community space where members engage in personal growth, collective action, and sustained learning. SGCC is designed to be an ecosystem of resources, relationships, and resilience, empowering members to make an impact without the burnout often associated with social activism.
SGCC provides ongoing, structured programming that balances wellness and activism, ensuring that members have the support they need to stay engaged, inspired, and empowered. Our approach is continuous, building momentum throughout the year and culminating in an annual summit and festival for social good—celebrating the progress of our community.
Continuous Engagement Model: SGCC is structured as an ongoing, deconstructed conference, providing workshops, events, and resources year-round so members can engage meaningfully on their schedule and sustain their commitment to social change.
A Strategic Intersection of Wellness and Activism: SGCC integrates mental wellness, community care, and social action, equipping members with the tools to engage in advocacy sustainably and avoid burnout.
A Community-Driven Learning Hub: Through interdisciplinary and intergenerational programming, SGCC creates an inclusive space for members to learn, lead, and grow together, enabling them to take informed, impactful action on the issues they care about most.
